There is not secret formula to being an illustrator-a liking for drawing helps, but more so is practice and being consistent with the way you approach your work. Do not give up a project half way throught-try to see it to the end. Recording your thoughts on paper-any kind of paper- is crucial. Ideas, stories, doodles and words need to be writen down before they are allowed to drift away for ever.
Illustration can be prone to fads and fashion - perhaps more than other since it has a hightly comercial side. Don not let this put you off. Trust your own instincts and drawing. Do not worry about not having a 'style' - you have got one already!
Keep up with drawing!'

I have chosen ‘The Bear and the Two Travellers’ from four fables as a theme for an ilustration but I did all of them after all.

I got chicken pox in the midle of this project. I was delirious with atchy pox all over my body. I didn’t know at that time that my poem is just a minute of silence.
I did the view of Almost Story at that time as well wich you can see since the 14th of February 2007.

This is an extra project. It should have been an illustration of any advice. I did the first and the second page during the course but I didn’t get any idea I would like to tell you so I left four more pages for the project. I went for trip to Prague-Budapest-Wien-Bratislava-Spisska Nova Ves-Levoca-Bardejov-Presov-Ruzomberok-Kakow after course. I saw many places and many things. I met many people and I got many ideas. I did the third to sixth page when I came back to Edinburgh. It is not very well done project I think. I would like to give you a word of advice now: ‘mind your wings!' ;)

It is observed drawing. The first picture is the stuff of JENNERS during a tea break drawn on napkin. The second picture is one member of stuff in detail. The third picture is from the National Museum of Scotland and the forth picture is from Forest Cafe, I drew both pictures on Sunday off.

Recording my thoughts to book of orders and napkins during my breaks, making illustration after work, printing edition on a copy machine and distribution after all as well. It took three weeks to finish this project. Every step to get to the end is important. This is a small unlimited edition about a kind of people we meet every day and are as different as fingers attached to our hand. I still have some of them! You can see view of 1234five since the 1st of November 2007.

This poster illustration was done one evening with help of Ellie and Palo. I couldn‘t find any red paper so that is the reason why this poster is on black paper. I was a bit unhappy next day because it was the last project of illustration course.
